Elizabethan Blackwork Pannel – Historical Embroidery Designs Set digitized by Liuba Tabunidze.
Blackwork, is a particularly English type of needlework, favoured during the Elizabethan period.
It was used both for pillow cases (or beres) and for parts of costume such as petticoats or skirts, foreparts, sleeves, caps and nightcaps.
These can often be seen in portraits of the 16 Century.
Designs are delivered as a .zip file and consists of:
– .txt info file,
– Pictures of designs,
– Two folders of Designs:
1) Single designs in three final panel sizes: 250×250 mm (10×10″), 300×300 mm (12×12″), 400×400 mm (16×16″)
for hoops 4×4″, 5×7′ and bigger.
Formats: DST, JEF, HUS, PES, PEC, VIP, VP3
2) Bonus designs (assembled and spleted) designs for panel 250×250 mm (10×10″), 300×300 mm (12×12″).
